Hey guys, new to the forums. This is my 2nd tacoma I've owned but the first time I have done any serious mods. Here's my problem:

I just installed a Rough country 3 inch lift and upgraded to Falken Wildpeaks on my 2019 TRD sport. My ride quality has gone down the toilet. I took the car into the shop to get an alignment and have a further diagnosis just to make sure everything was installed correctly and the mechanics said it looked great underneath and I followed procedure. But the car does a full rumble dance even over small cracks and bumps. Would you recommend taking the loss on the rough country lift and buying a different set up or letting it settle in and hope the ride quality gets better? Thanks all

3" is quite a bit over stock for these trucks. Me-thinks it's the majority of your issue, followed by (possibly) heavier load range tires.

What suspension set uo would you recommend for a smooth ride? (Not in the price range of icon)

Should I take it down a notch? Maybe go with a 2.75?

I would, for an attempt at an easy fix, take the tires down to 33, just to see what the change is. Then start worrying about suspension if the trouble remains.

I would recommend a bilstein 5100 with a matching spring for your ride height from ome or eibach. Secondly, bilstein with your stock spring set no more than the 2nd notch.
Get a aal and a 1 inch block to level or keep the rake... or get a new medium leaf pack from Dakar.

First, your tire pressure is too high. Second... well .. stated above.

Assuming these are e-rated Falkens they are a very heavy tire. They benefit from a little less PSi. I have 275/70/17 E-rated Ko2s (also heavy) and run them at 33 PSi (cold) and they ride much better and seem to be wearing evenly.

2nd on the 5100 setup. It’s considered a “budget” lift/suspension upgrade, but honestly rides awesome if you match it to the right springs.

Does that kit have the ability to soften/stiffen? I'm intrigued. Gonna try lowering the psi in the tires for a few days then reevaluate.

The 5100s are a fixed rate damping matched to the factory weight of the 3G taco if you buy the right set.

You have to choose your springs, but the stockers work in most cases.

Gonna try your idea for a few days and go from there. I had been looking at bilsteins but I mustve had a mental blank and somehow convinced myself into getting rough ride country smh

    LTs right?
34 psi would be your adjusted recommended inflation.

Can you post a link to the exact lift you purchased? You might get a little roasted over it (Rough Country is a trigger on TW), but some people here probably have the same lift and can advise you as to how they got it dialed.
