    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
The only reason I’m questioning it is because I’m only rubbing in reverse on the driver side.

    Nice find on the pro!

have you checked where it’s rubbing? It might just be the plastic liner thats rubbing. Easy fix if it is. Just use a heat gun and push it in with a 2x4 and cool it down with a spray bottle filled with water. You could also trim some of the plastic too.

you should be able to clear 285/75r16 with the stock pro wheels with very minimal rubbing on the plastic.

I did cmc on mines because I planned to run 295/75r17. Trimming on the plastic was very minimal running a 17” -10 offset wheel.

Decided to go with the Westscott lift. Now.... looking for my tires, definitely bumping to a 17" wheel. So I'll have a nice set of pro wheels and almost brand new KO's for sale at some point.

My question, I REALLY like the Wildpeak AT3's. Had them on my last OR and absolutely loved the ride and handling. However, they're kind of pricey in the 285 size. Does anyone have experience with the Kenda Kevlar Brand? I've seen the name pop up a bit around the forums but wondering what you all think of them.

Does anyone know the max amount of lift the FOX Pro suspension can handle? Can you go a full 3" in front and 3"+ in the rear?

The front you may be hard pressed to get 3" lift, ride quality would probably suffer if you're not going to an adjustable coilover and you may also run into issues with the UCA making contact with the coilover. The rear should be able to handle close to 3" lift but doubt more than 3", the rear fox TRD Pro shocks I believe have a slight bit more extension than the standard bilsteins found on the OR models, I think there is a thread on here somewhere discussing it? I did a AAL to the rear of mine but went fox 2.5 RR on the front as my front TRD fox shocks were heading south on me anyway, I am hard on my truck. The rear still has the factory fox 2.5's, no issues with shocks topping out due to the lift and I am ~2.5" lift all the way around.Front Setup.jpg Rear AAL_Shocks.jpg Rear AAL_Shocks2.jpg Sideways.jpg

I don't know about a thread but I can tell you for sure the TRD Pro shocks, both front and rear, only have just under inch more travel the OR oems.

Isn't that pretty close to what extended travel shocks are? ~1" more travel from factory excluding the pro?

Yep. I think they made sure to keep it where the factory UCA could still be used. Which is why I’m curious about the new 2022s.

That thing is falling apart at the front. I'm looking to buy a Roof Rack but need to find out which ones to avoid. Obviously, this one is in that category.

Also, the mounting points looks like sealant had to be used...assuming it was used.

With the pro fox you already have a +1 lift or let say clearance. And if you are fitting 33s and keep the fox pro suspension. My suggestion is to to go with Westcott designs lift,.which gives you a perch lift that will be able to use a full travel of your suspension.
I kept the fox pro suspension and I went that route. It gave me a full 2.5 inch which settled down 2 in. B/c I have an ADD front bumper and winch adding 100+ lbs. I also added ICONS UCA with delta joints , drop kits for the carrier bearing, front diff and sway bar to level your cv. And prevent hitting/ rubbing your sway bar against your suspension.

Still debating to just complete delete sway swaybar for more travel. I did a cmc and pinch weld. Really needed for flex, travel, clearance without rubbing out in the trails. But I'm looking to go 35s when I'm ready to replace suspensions but that's another project in the works.

Edit: I also regeared to 5.29 ECGS full lockers and full skids.
FYI.. And in the the future you have to replace you front needle bearing for that ecgs bushing front differential driver side due to wear and tear and the needle bearing will soon break on youi Due to lift and the cv angle and cause vibration..

IMO, 2in is a good level and fitting 33s. Since I go out wheeling more often lately. I've taken her out on ohv parks Hollister, PC, Carnegie, etc and national forests (until they started closing due to fires) to test my limits. It has gone through black diamonds and did just fine.

but over all it's mainly used for building house projects and camping over weekends. Hope this helps..

Ok. I’m getting a better idea now of which was to go with this lift. The reason I’m asking is because I’m thinking of combining the westscott lift with the Eibach springs. Which tire size are you running? I’m picking up a set of ray10’s with at3w 285/75-17’s on Friday.

    Thanks all for the input!

I'm running 35x12.5x17, but as you see in the pictures I also had to trim my fenders (2.5" trimmed) plus I did a cab mount relocation from Alpine Designs right before I made the jump to 35's, a simple CMC is not enough unless its a very aggressive chop, this is why a lot of guys stick to 33's because it takes a lot more effort to making 35's fit right, I still slightly rub the firewall at full lock when the tire is stuffed which is why I am getting it tubbed out soon. As others have mentioned there is also other things that need to be considered or should be such as gearing.

I’m considering the Mount relocate. Not against it.

the 285 is not quite 12” wide. I’ll take my chances with the firewall. I don’t do a lot of heavy or. So I’m probably not going to see full stuff often if at all.

I do want a regear, I may drop to 33’s later. Which gearing would you all suggest for the 33’s and 35’s?

also, can someone please tell me what “ECGS” means. Not up on that one.

I regeared 5.29 , East Coast Gear Supply. That's where you can get it. And if you do it, make sure to have the needle bearing replaced to bushing. That way you don't have to replace it. Keep asking those questions coming! What was the GI Joe motto? Lol!

For 285's or 33's (they are nearly identical in size btw) a CMR (cab mount relocation) is unnecessary but you will need a CMC (cab mount chop), some guys do not even need a CMR with 315's or 35's depending on the rim offset but a more aggressive CMC is still usually in the realm. With 285's or 33's you also do not have to worry about rubbing the firewall, at least I have not heard of it, those are 35" tire problems.

For regear go 5.29. There are guys on here running 5.29's with no lift or oversize tires and love it. Some of the guys who went 4.88 regret not going 5.29 but then there are those who say 4.88 is perfect for 285's/33's, to each their own but I like the "buy once cry once" philosophy. Also if you ever tow or haul anything or are constantly driving up steep grades you will really appreciate the 5.29's. If you live where there are no mountains and it's all flat land you may be just dandy with 4.88's, you'll get slightly better fuel mileage.

As mentioned ECGS is a acronym for a company called East Coast Gear Supply, they manufacture a smooth sleeve bearing to replace the factory needle bearing in the front diff. Personally this I have not done, I also like the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" philosophy as well but some people prefer to be more preventive, I am more of a reactive kind of guy o_O. My truck has nearly 70K miles of lots of highway and offroad and no issues with the factory needle bearing. *Knock on wood*. It is hit or miss for some.

Getting all my ducks in line. Going to get a KD Tune in a couple weeks.

also picking up a fully rebuilt set of fox pro shocks.

my question here is, can the Eibach pro springs be combined with the Westscott lift for the pro? Safe? Problems?

I’m looking for 3 inches + of lift on the foxes. If they get destroyed after awhile, eeeh, I’ll upgrade to something else. Yes, I know, I’ll need UCA’s. And those are in the plan.

More than likely, I’ll do the CMR. Pay once cry once, right?

matter watching and reading about what guys are experiencing with the 5.29’s, that’ll be the last thing in.
