Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Haha definitely crossed my mind. I wonder if she’d notice a certain +2.25 kit cleverly disguised by new wheels that “were just a bit wider”

 

35s fit a bit easier on the fj actually

 

I’m jealous of the interior. Rubber floors, big buttons/knobs you can use with gloves, visible switches and nice space for extras…not to mention a much cooler feeling shifting into 4wd…

 

If you wanna feel cooler shifting into 4wd, just do what I did.

 

Too much work haha I’ll stick with my knob that matches the climate knobs. Nothing like hitting the trails and having the same feeling putting it in 4wd as flipping it from feet and face to defrost

 

Most of which you can swap to the Tacoma or buy to make it like the FJ

 

No more work! Tired of buying shit for this Tacoma. It’s maxed out. Time to put on some all terrains and see if it will haul a truggy

 

Hey mine will haul the jeep and wheel well once I get a new rear axle. But I've been looking at trailers big enough to haul both and a bigger diesel truck to haul them

 

I find myself having more and more respect for people who say their tacoma is maxed lol. The never ending list only gets increasingly foolish the more I look at it.

 

Take it with a grain of salt from me. I said it after mid travel and 33’s and here we are haha

 

Bruh, it literally took me 1 night to do the whole swap. It’s so easy. And it was like 600$ including the twin stick.

 

I’ve never looked into it honestly. 4lo and front rear lockers have been good enough for me. Knob really doesn’t bother me, just don’t know why Toyota ditched some of the cool stuff in an “offroad” package Tacoma.

 

You should experience 2 low….. To say it’s a game changer is an absolute understatement.

 

What situations is 2 low good for? I’m not familiar with it.

 

It’s more of a reliability issue and eliminating weak points (actuators and such) I did mine on my apartment parking lot one afternoon along with an ADD delete. It’s pretty straight forward.
