His boat is three years old.
Mine is 26.
His is a 40hp 3 cyl 4 stroke EFI
Mine is a 40hp 4 cyl 2 stroke CARB
Mine is flat bottom
His has a slight v
Mine is 17 feet long
His is 16 feet long
Mine does 33mph with 2 people, lunch, and enough tackle and rods
To supply 5 boats.
His does 35mph (which is 2mph faster than he could do) with me driving
And 2 rods and 2 lures..
If I strip my boat I’d be faster.
If he said I’d trade I’d decline. There is no rod locker. No forward storage ,
No place for tackle per say, no place for a cooler..
The motor does run very well however, I don’t need a computer to fix mine..

This is the latest I’ve ever fished and to catch a couple like this was awesome.
I got to fish and my buddy had his boat wrung out…

So I had to move the boat forward 4 inches on the trailer cause it had no tongue weight at all.
Reset the winch.
Take the bow pad off and add 1/2” in height cause it wouldn’t touch the bow and reinstall the bunk material. I could have raised The rear of the bunks to rotate the boat on the trailer but I did it this way..

 

Well, I guess we know the fishes are bitten..

Today was my last day off until the wife & I go to Cancun on November 6th, so I went trout fishing today in WV. River was very low but managed to catch one rainbow out of a deeper pool. Even though I only caught one, it was a beautiful fall day in the mountains!

2 hour drive there this morning. (On the way stopped at McDonald's drive thru in WV. Lady in front of me paid for my bfast, so I was thinking, "This is gonna be a great day!")
Caught that fish in my first few casts. Fished for a 3 more hours.
2 hour drive home.
I know it's a lot of driving for such little fishing time, but I love to drive in the country!

 

Thanks Scott. i let her decide what hospital and then looked up the docs for this. the one i picked was also one she had heard good reports on from other people she knows. initial checkup with him early Nov.our local hospital is good but UVA is just over the mountain.

 

I feel your pain buddy. My dad is still dealing with his left side paralysis since his stroke in January. He is still in the nursing facility, and this week got shingles. Ugh! We're beginning to think he'll never get better or be able to go back home. Also a lot of wear & tear on mom's health.
