    I went to start the truck yesterday and it was completely dead, no lights, nothing. I was about 75 miles from home and it was getting dark and freezing out. I opened the hood, tapped the battery terminals and closed the hood and it started right up, I've got to redo the terminal connections when I get a chance.

    It had me nervous for couple of minutes. After I restarted it, all my radio presets were gone, and the clock reset to 1:00. It's going to be real chilly around here for the next day or so, but I can't ignore it or I'll be stuck at the worst possible time and place. Coming up on 40,000 miles, so maybe it might be time to think about a new battery.

    Stephen, the battery had enough juice to start the truck, The problem was (I think) a loose terminal connection. I'll take them both off, clean them up and put them back together in the next few days.
