Probably not a bad idea if you're putting on new tires with em, but not necessary unless it was out of alignment before...

Patiently waiting for the restock. I can't decide between the matte jet black ray 10s or the F5..... not a big fan of the fake beadlock but like the details on the Ray 10 but also lile the simplicity of the F5. What to do, what to do???o_O

I am in the same situation, the only reason why I would not pick the f5 is because it has no center caps but it weighs less. To me the ray 10 looks more finished with the center caps. Specially since I have a first gen I wouldn’t like to put a heavy wheel and some 33’s. A plus for the f5 is no fake beadlock, less weight and it a little cheaper.

I wasn't aware the F5 didn't come with centercap. Thank you for pointing it out. Although I do like the look of no cap. I would still like for my wheels to be included with caps and have the option to run them or not. I guess I'll decided which ever wheel is in stock at the moment

Does your 1st Gen have manual locking hubs? The ray 10’s might not fit…

I believe they fit Tacoma locking hubs, they don’t fit pickups.

You can pop the caps on/off at anytime with the tire mounted to the truck.

I don’t understand how this company has been having inventory issues since 2017 and hasn’t been able to keep up with demand. So much money left on the table by poor business practices

Supply issues are a worldwide problem now. The quality, exclusivity and customer service brought by SCS is what makes them so successful. I don't think any company would sustain a poor business practice since 2017. Obviously their business model works even under the restrictions/constraints they've been dealt during a global shipping crisis. In a world of instant gratification I think it's awesome having something worth chasing after.

I finally ran into someone else with SCS wheels on an FJ. It's like we were instantly friends that had known each other for years. The exclusively does make a difference when the market isn't flooded like Method.

Hey guys, I have the Ray 10’s 17” and was wondering if any of you are running total chaos spindle gussets? Do they clear without spacers?
