Life has been busy. I didn't put it into my garage yet. I almost started the job last night, but something came up. Plus I just realized that I returned my 6 ton jack stands due to the Harbor Freight recall issue. My 3 ton stands cannot even reach the frame with the truck on its tires.

Hah, troof! Except I went with a more expensive option. I had a decent 09' TRD OR kickin' 'round and saw all the new and shiny 3rd gen trucks that made me go spend $42K on a new one o_O

Then I started adding shit

Don't buy a V6 then... In town mileage is hilarious for both the 4.0L and 3.5L's...

Does it automatically get shitty MPG because it's truck? My dad got 27 MPG in his 2018 GMC Yukon on the highway once...

    Hmm, you got a point.

My commute is an odd mix. Some in town, mostly backroads going 50-60mph and then a trip up the mountain. I struggle to get 21 in summer and can barely push 19 in the winter. It's a truck though, if I need fuel economy I got a 4 cylinder Camry or a rusted out Talon (when it runs, lol) that both get 30mpg...

The window sticker on my truck said 19 city/25 highway, and I do believe I managed to get about 28 MPG on the highway when my truck was almost new...

VVVVVV this, insulate, wire, and finish the interior before you start putting junk in there, otherwise you’ll never do it.

While the gas mileage may be decent you still have to be seen in public driving a GMC, that there’s your punishment. Frankly, I’ll take the Toyota and shittier gas mileage

Hey, my dad loves that thing; My only complaint is that ground clearance is actually worse than my Tacoma and I scuffed up the air dam when I pulled into a parking spot after driving it for the first time...
