Victim of a recent tornado in Mullica Hill, New Jersey; Anybody own or otherwise recognize?

 

Yeah it was my cousins uncles friends gfs sisters truck.

 

My brother lives in Texas, maybe he knows them.

 

Sorry for your loss. However it's super cool how we can post pictures of a truck and people often know on here who's it is.

 

I heard during a news conference that they don't call them tornadoes anymore....

I've been "stalking" Tacomas for years now, and I find most of them just parked in random public places; This 1998 SR5 V6 model was one such example, parked amongst a mishmash of show vehicles and spectator vehicles at a Halloween-themed cruise night last weekend. I still see 2001-2004 models quite frequently, as those got the frame replacements and were given a new lease on life, but 1995-1997 models and 1998-2000 models like this one have become far and few between; This is most certainly because so many of them were bought back and crushed as part of the original recall...

The question I have is this; Were any pre-2001 First Gen Tacos given a new frame, or were all of them that had frame perforation bought back and crushed?

This one is not in the best condition, and according to Carfax it had 267,260 miles at the time of an oil change on December 19th, 2019; This means it likely has over 300K miles at this point!

Anyway, when I see a 1st Gen that's older than 2001, my standards for the physical condition are considerably lower than for any 2nd Gen Tacoma since there still so many of them around; If you look closely at the first picture, you will see that the front left fender used to be red. This truck does have a clear title and the frame appeared to be in decent shape for a vehicle that spent the first 23 years of its life in New Jersey...

 

I have this same sticker on my fuel filler door!
