No doubt, it was funny. I had been spending a little time over there, and it was eye-opening.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
I don't know what you were thinking, OP. Somebody made a mistake on the last oil job, but can ya blame anybody but yourself for ignoring the oil light?

I actually think this is a good idea. Modern vehicles should have this. However, for the same reason that the 3rd gens had a fuel pump recall- a vehicle cutoff while its running is a safety concern. Most people have no idea what to do when the engine stops on the highway and it's an accident waiting to happen. And a car losing oil pressure is more likely to happen than a fuel pump failing. They can't knowingly implement a fail-safe cutoff just to save the engine due to the risk of collision.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Lots of engine driven equipment has a safety system like this for temperature, oil pressure and fuel level.

While a great idea just more things to fail and trouble shoot since they are all tied into a control board

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
First gens have this but its not in the ECU; generally its in the driver seat. Seemed to have malfunctioned this time....
