Speedhut gauges in a Lotek 2-Pod Full Pillar. The gauges work well and pod fitment is acceptable. I'm neither a woman nor an interior decorator, so the color match is close enough. The biggest issue I had/have was/is fitment, that required a little Dremel work to optimize. I had to tweak one of the gauge holes to seat the gauge and both mounting holes for the handle required adjustment. The gauges ended up fitting pretty well. The handle will never be perfect but, thanks to @JuanitoBunito's mod-advice, it works.

so, the full moon revealed a fuckening of gutwrenching proportions today...
while performing an oil service on my truck i seen the oil looks......shinny. [IMG]
so at that point i just have to finish. after adding oil and running her for 30-45 seconds to pressurize the system and check the proper oil level, i then check the radiator water level. the damn cap almost shot out of my hand with all the pressure.:censored:
@Torspd would hyper pneumatic pistons work for the 1gr fe with 7-8 psi boost at max. i may try to rebuild it before a rod tries to give me a high 5.
@BassAckwards i have became a victim of the head gasket failure.

If doing your own build with OEM parts, gap the rings wider that oem spec, for boost. That will allow more expansion and lower the chance of them binding and cracking a ring land.

If you plan to put new pistons in, and a company has a set of aftermarket on hand, that are for stock bore, that would be the best choice.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Anyone down for a GB on a speed shop supplying built engines? No necessarily a stroker but maybe rods, pistons, valves and guides...?
    Just dreaming...

AT THIS POINT I WAS THINKING OF HAVING A SHOP PRESS IN SLEEVES OR JUST PUT IN CAST IRON LINERS. AT THAT POINT I WOULD BORE IT OVER .5MM OR 1MM.
    SORRY FOR CAPS AT WORK.
