I've never not seen water flowing.. :notsure: We've gone as far back as you can go with a Tacoma pretty much. Photo dates are showing September, April, May, March for times we've been out there.. all had water.

When we went all the way back, we found a cool river rock beach we camped on right next to an abandoned mine in the cliffside. We didnt even see it until the next morning.. made for a fun morning. We we're trying to wheel our way back farther, but between it being in the middle of the night at the time, and one of us pulling an Expo trailer.. it made it quite sketch. Turned to 33" size boulders real quick. we turned around and went back to the rock beach. Obviously.. camp at your own risk along the river in the canyon.

Im not familiar enough with the river to know what "all the way back" means. Wikipedia says its 115 miles long, starts south of Prescott and is mostly underground.

Correct. Just meant as far back into the canyon as we could go. beyond where we were at is where it starts getting tight and unpassable.

Super Pacific. Lol but idk.. material shortages are wrecking havoc on everyone right now. Same for us at work.. so haven't really pushed it. Just letting them do their thing. But hoping within the next month or so. Which actually works out, because the BAMF rear bumper should be here around the end of the month. Will be nice to have that and finish cutting the bedsides prior to picking up the camper. We're itching though! :goingcrazy:

Interested in how you are going about sealing up the bed to keep dust out of the inside of the SP.

I have several things to do to mine before my ACCC arrives beginning of November, but maybe I am missing something.

I'm not going crazy with the sealing.. just the large areas (cubbies and corners of bed mostly). Mix of Aluminum tape and Butyl Tape. works great. Did the Aluminum Tape under the bedrails and then the Butyl in all the corners and holes.

Looking at awnings for my wife's 4 runner. There's a lot of options and I'm getting a bit lost with making choices.

She has a 2007 with a Gobi stealth roof rack. She wants something for the side and I'm looking at mounts and awnings that will fit the rack.

I've talked to @XPOTRPR and it seems that most awnings are very similar and mounts need to be good.

ARB is nice and Gobi has mounts for them but ARB is very expensive.

    Any suggestions?

They’re all pretty much the same. There’s even one you can order from Napa for like $100

I have a Freespirit awning on my rack...they're all pretty much made out of the same Chinesium in the same factory, similar to most RTTs.

OVS is the best in the business, except for maybe Kinsmen but those are expensive as fuck. I have the Nomad 270 and love it. Its the biggest awning out there but super simple to install/deploy/pack up. We had this discussion a few pages back also, Ill try to find it and link to the post later today.

Did these come with mounts? I haven't looked at the site in detail yet.
