Having a baby killed the weekly wheeling trips and this thread for me haha. Our weekends are usually more planned around stuff we do together or me watching her so my wife can get her stuff done. Hard to take the whole family out in an Xtra cab 1st gen. Believe me we've tried lol

Another year or so and my daughter will be old enough to come out with just me and hopefully enjoy some trails

Dang, I work on Veterans Day. I guzzled thru most of my PTO for the year. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Saturday or Sunday.

Azusa canyon is mainly for mud trucks in my opinion. The trails in there make you feel like you’re stuck in a fish bowl. Obviously a lot of people love going in there everyone’s different to each his own

Like @elmontemike said, some people like it which is why it does tend to draw crowds. But I think you have to really be into the mud bogging scene for that because that's really the only big draw it has. I'm really not one for mud pits, nor small enclosed areas full of people running around. I'll take actual trails over that any day

I need to go back as well. I went a year ago with a group from TW and it was a lot of fun, but we happened to pick a crazy busy weekend. Lady at the Chevron outside Moab told me it was the busiest she'd ever seen the place in the 10 years she worked there. So that sucked lol. But it was still fun. Want to go back during a time of year when it's not so crowded.

september seem pretty good out there. Not many people out there and the weather was great. Windy at night time but no biggy. Let me know if you are interested in taking a trip up there. Maybe we can plan something.

Yeah we went in mid-Sept. There was a big Jeep event going on from all over the country, plus I think since stuff was starting to open back up after the lockdowns, it was just a madhouse

Im registered for Clean Dezert on the 6th!
Lets get some Tacoma boys out there!

Also most likely going to be out in Ocotillo with hopefully a small group for Halloween... If my normal crew can't go I will probably tag along with some GM guys @pre_funner and @izzy_fab (on IG)

& ditto on @Nicklovin post. I haven't "really" used the truck since the Superstition meet in February or something ): Down for another trip later November, maybe December depending on the day, and also in January to Ocotillo or Johnson Valley too.

Any spots worth checking out around Julian area or San Diego in general? I checked out the otay truck trail already which is nice and all for the views. Rather not have to commute farther than Julian which is about an hour twenty. I’m located by mission bay SD.
