At least they didn't have to delete negative reviews for that, unlike Captain Marvel

We had a $1 theater in town here until a few years ago, would play movies that were going out of circulation at the main theaters. I think the price went up to $3 now or something, still cheap.

I've been there a couple times and it's uh...an experience. I'd rather go to our local big theater that does $5 tickets all day Tuesdays

Now that I think about it...I haven't been to a movie since 2019

My mom would always bring one of those beach totes to the movies when she'd take us as kids, and fill it up with outside snacks/drinks. I dunno how she never got asked about it.

    they know but don't care

if you're making $7.25 are you gonna have some randos yelling at you over snacks? probably not lol

Straight up have walked in with nalgenes in hand before lol. Actually in recent years the only time I've had any kind of issue at the theater was seeing Joker and forgetting my ID because with my hairline and beard I rarely get asked. They refused to let me in unless I was accompanied by someone 17 and up with ID lol

I lived near a really expensive nice theatre when I was in middle and high school so whenever friends wanted to go see a movie we'd all go to safeway and buy stuff (whole 12 packs of soda, candy... things from the deli counter) and put it all in one of those slim jansport backpacks that fit under a hoodie.

Actually, I think I do. Those poor teenagers working for min wage at the front door aren't going to question a middle aged woman with 3 children in tote about the contents of her bag lol.
