Good deal, yea he and I worked out the solution to all the lights awhile back, unfortunately the posts about it were all lost when RST went down awhile back. We'll get it all back up though.

As far as the ADD, what were you planning to use for a switch? Something like mine?

Definitely, I'm a combo of too tall and wide lol. It's ok though, this truck will definitely get me through for a couple years. Waiting for snow to try out the 4x4 :) I live in Massachusetts, and by this time we usually have snow, but the winter I finally get rid of my tC and get the Tacoma we have not gotten an inch yet lol FML.
No bullshit though, you have one of the nicest access cabs I've ever seen. I want it lol.

Ozbogon has some info posted for his 08 FJ sas that may help us figure part of it out. It looks like my 4wd ecu is setup and wired different than earlier models. It sucks that so much info was lost when RST went down. Its the holidays and my dash is very festive so it will be good to get it figured out.

For the ADD I was planning on using a dial type momentary switch in the original location.

If you want just give me a call so I can figure out exactly what all you need then we'll go from there. I should be able to email you a diagram to wire it up.

Thanks to all the folks that have been helping out. We came up with a temporary fix this afternoon, we ended up pulling the 4wd drive actuator from the stock case. Then removed the shiftrod and plugged the sensor holes cut some spacers and mounted it to the FJ case. Plugged it back in and have everything but the 4wd/low indicator lights working correctly (they work just not quite the way they should). So I have 4wd again and was able to clear all the dashlights that were lit up. This saved us from having to deal with any wiring until we can make sure it is right.

Alright, Brant emailed me the 2009 wiring diagram and he compared it to earlier models and it changed Brant might be able to say what year for sure. So it has been passed on to folks who know what they are looking at. When it comes to wiring I need help and don't want to screw something up. Driving the truck with twin sticks is sweet it just seems cooler with more levers and different drive options. Currently the only way to get in and out of my house is being locked and in 4wd so yes they are seeing some use. The plan is to do some finish work on it over the holidays as time permits and the wiring gets worked out. Thanks again to all the folks that have helped me out and happy holidays to everyone.:D

Actually looking at it real quick it looks like there will only be one difference as far as wiring up the ADD system, and that's just basically a different color wire.

Thanks, I have been slacking on getting any work done on it lately but will update the build soon.

Awesome picture, we were bowling first time in about 10 years. Definitely a small world I'm guessing you were up skiing at Sun Valley or Galena?

It was probably around 0 degrees I'm guessing when they took that pic.

Here is the link for wiring the FJ Transfer case that Kevin from ATO posted on RST. Thanks to both Kevin and Wyatt for helping me out on this project.

Ya, we were up snowboarding at sun valley staying in a borrowed condo for a few days, including new years. Did u happen to catch the fireworks on Bald mtn? They were pretty cool!

HA! Thats an underatatement lol. The first day my friend and i went out snowboarding it was -3 when we started, then by the late afternoon it had warmed up all the way to 6!

But the coldest part was driving back the night i took that pic. Visibility was 300-400 yards for a good part of the 2 lane highway, and it was -23 at its coldest point!

Its been awhile since I updated the build I really haven't done too much lately other than have problems at the house that I'm renting water heater, septic blah blah blah. I was able to mock up the shifters for the twin sticks in the cup holder. I also threw on the Budbuilt skids to see how the weight affected the truck. So here are a few pics, we are almost finished with the flares but not quite there yet.

Awesome pics man!! Looks sweet with the 35s... Cant wait to get some on my reg cab.. Curious to hear how the extra weight of the buds affect you

Figure my truck will look something like this with the 35s... black and minus the tire carrier on the back of course:p
