I'm patriotic but the red white and blue tailgate letters aren't doing it for me. The TRD off road side badge doesn't make much sense on what appears to be a sport. The shackles look like earrings, and that big ass running board step in the back looks kind of strange on an otherwise stock looking truck. Other than the rear end though, truck looks nice.

Well, the “big ass running board step” is actually a rear guard protector, if we’re being technical. And the shackles, sorry go take that up with Hooke Road. I actually like the red, white and blue and I’ve seen various ones over here where I live.

Hey, who cares what others think. Your truck, do what makes you happy. Well as long as you don’t put a bunch of fake chrome air vents:)

Cool bumper for sure though. One day, one day…

That guard protector will bend your tow hitch down which will bend the frame and total your truck on you if you're not careful.

I mean guard protector or not, if someone rear ends you, good chance your frame will be bent anyways.

    Nice truck!

I almost bought the US Flag lettering for my Midnight Black Taco...but went with RED instead.

Good point about the possible frame damage awareness. I keep a hitch ball attached to keep people away from the back of the truck.

I had to laugh about the description of the shackles looking like earrings...lol. It does look kinda busy with the color contrast against the black. But you do what you want because...it's your truck.

I thought my initial choice of side steps was rushed because of the "sliders" I've seen...but I'm happy with the ones I got.

    Enjoy your truck...lookin' good!

    Ed

Good point, but having a lever just hanging out there doesn’t help.

Does not no. I’m rocking a hitch ever since I got the truck. I do tow, but not often so I just leave it on. Gives me a bit of peace of mind if someone backs up into me in the parking lot or lightly rear end me on the roads.
