Seriously, LR is the best color ever. Even on the "less fancy" model, it looks like such a cohesive design.

 

My uncle just bought a Cement Off Road. I love cement but against LR it just seemed boring.

We had our first rainy day the other day since I've owned the truck. Blew me away how different it looked on a grey day. I love that, even though it's relatively muted, it's still a dynamic colour.

 

Orange County California, but the dealer is in colorado because all the local dealers are up charging and Im getting this for under msrp. Also these are the LED headlights.

the headlights in that picture do not look like the LED ones unless I’m missing something?

 

Yeah it looked like my dealer got their allocations before alot of others and I locked it down about a minute after they told me they got the allocation info.

the drl’s (daytime running lights) are led, but not the entire headlight assembly. What your truck has for lighting is what we get here in Canada, the full led lights are above this and not an option here unfortunately

 

Ah ok, did not see the difference. When you build it in my zipcode or the dealers its listed as led headlights and foglights.

would it be possible to get the dealership and sales person you've talk to get that good deal. really pissed in SoCal for the greedy over pricing of the tacoma. I wouldn't mind doing the same thing you did.

 

It's actually a great idea to do this. I got my TRD Off Road at a Toyota dealer in Texas where my cousin works. I literally saved $6k for the exact build I wanted because the greedy bastards here said it was mandatory for the mark-up. Needless to say that BS didn't fly. All the extra money I saved went to the mods.

 

I went through costco, and after the local costco dealers gave me the run around and screwed me, I called costco back and had them find me a dealer out of state that would actually give me costco pricing. So they connected me to Mountain States Toyota and the person that contacted me was Phoebe and she handled most everything, and because she is an esales consultant, Paul is going to be helping me when I am at the dealer. They have both been fantastic to work with, with no BS. If you look at the dealership website they advertise no dealer fees or BS addons/addendums. So you get the price plus tax and thats pretty much it.

Edit: This dealership will charge you the correct CA sales tax, but as for registration and dmv stuff your are on you own.

 

yeah I'm saving a few grand minimum and as a bonus because I am roadtripping it home I get a nice scenic vacation. Even with airfare a hotel and misc costs, gas etc. I am still way ahead. Local dealer told me that it's unrealistic to get a trd offroad 4x4 with tech package for 43k out the door and I'm getting that, LED headlights and Premium Audio and coming in at that or less. Of course I will need to take care of registration smog etc but not really an issue.

 

FYI - Mark Miller in Toyota in Salt Lake City promises "no market adjustments"
