Muahahaha. I think it’s Lime green because they were cleaning out the Scion factories and found thousands of cans of that color of paint. Corporate was like… “ok… either we convince Kia to buy it, or we have to find some special edition that takes way more paint than a Yaris to use it on, or no Christmas party!”

That old school landcruiser yellow would have been fantastic. I thought the orange from a few years ago would have eventually led into the yellow and I’m also surprised it didn’t show up this year. I was 90% sure it would be some form of mustard since the voodoo blue got dropped. But there’s always the 4th generation. It would be extra cool if they had a first run edition of 4g’s that came in all of the classic FJ40 colors, kind of like they sort of did with the FJ Cruiser. I only had the Trail Teams in white and sandstorm, but the amount of people that would just randomly come talk to me and take pics of them did a ton of advertising for Toyota (especially since they weren’t interested in advertising the FJ on its own).

Thanks for the video! That was actually super helpful Wahayes! The only downside is that the way he pronounces TRD sounds like he’s saying “dirty”. Haha.

Did you get your Tundra on the market? They are still selling fast. I got a Ram in 2017 for family trips and I loved the Tundra extremely. I was just able to get a Ram for way WAY less because a guy had leased it and he we already at 24,000 miles at ten months in so he panicked and sold it super low. So I bought it. Super comfortable, but a pain to park. That’s why I sold it and am looking at going back to a Taco. I’ll take a little bit less comfort for my kids for the ease of parking and squeezing through tight trails.

No I didn't. I think I'm going to keep it. My main thing is trail width, parking I'm used to as I'm used to fullsize trucks (I'm from Texas lol) and my truck is kind of our family vehicle for long haul trips bc wife drives an nx. My next one will Def be a Taco though

I drive a 2017 tundra , 2 in lift 33s and open diffs and no sliders for reference , and would like to see if anyone is down. It would be 11/19-11/24ish those are the days I'm off.

I’ve done that trail before. Lot of out of towners come to do those trails. Seems like he didn’t know the trails so probably a new guy to the area. Tons of people moving here.

Anybody been to Zion this week? First time going, and just learned that the only way to access observation point is through the east mesa trial which claims to “require” 4x4 vehicles. Has anyone driven that stretch to the trail head? Looked up the trailhead and it looks pretty remote, hoping car break-ins aren’t a regular thing that far out.

First time visiting Utah and I love it here already. Just did Bryce Canyon NP today, that was an incredible park.

So I'm not familiar with that area but I can tell you you need to save the number for Matt's off road recovery just in case you run into trouble. Sorry I can't be of more help for that trail, not an area of southern utah I have much exp with. Usually if the signs out here say 4x4 is needed they mean it. Maybe not all the time in some cases , but if the weather changes you can bet on it. Are you asking about break downs , or break ins?? Break ins not likely.

Good idea on Matt, I watch his videos all the time and I’m finally in his neighborhood. And yes break ins, good to hear! Thanks for the reply!

UCLA is coming to town. If you want to wait for college football to end, then I’m down.
