Uh oh. An e-bike vs mountain bike discussion.

Someone tag me when it's over and we can talk about Crocs again.

I'm bored sitting on the couch with these broken ribs but not so bored that I'm interested in an e-bike debate.

Looks like you had fun, and if you're legal, have at it!

All I'd encourage is finding out what's OK before riding it, and encourage your buddy to do the same. Sounds like you have a plan to do so, but sounds like your buddy may not have as much consideration.

Yup-yup. He’s a US Marine, so his next plan was to ride that thing at another local trail he knows and find some “haters”. Lol

Last night, it was mainly us wanting to go ride to test out his new bike. We went after work to a local trail he rides with his mtb about every week. I went with him to build memories.

I was thinking about those crocs with cleats this morning actually. I feel like it'd be impossible to unclip. The shoe would just spin on your foot right? Or the rubbery croc material would bend/twist.

Edit: I am huuuuge croc fan, but not for this...

    not enough.
didn't even think about that...i guess you won't want your clip tension set too high? Unless the idea is to leave the crocs permanently attached to the pedals. lolol.

You buy a pair and find out :p! My knees are too screwed up for that kind of R&D.

I actually have the "all terrain" crocs which do have an adjustable strap.

No beaches around Utah we could try them at. Unless you went to some place like Sand hollow in St George.

who lives along the beach in this group?

Or...try it on a bar bike...but you'd need different shoes as well. lolol.
