Saw a guy yesterday parked one spot away from the cart return. Still couldn’t be bothered to return the cart. Instead he just rested the cart against another car.

I posted this on Facebook (before I stopped going in Facebook), just as a little fun thing. I have a number of friends who are highly educated - multiple Doctoral degrees - and this set off some intense, deep discussions. Me, being highly undegreed, slowly faded into the background.

Food Max used to charge a quarter to use a cart and would get it back when you returned the cart.

Aldi does this now. Not sure if they're all over the country yet or only here on the east coast.

I went to do my equipment check on the logging site at 5. While I was walking around, I heard what sounded like thunder. I looked up in the direction it came from as it continued to get louder. Above the trees and through the mist, I watched as a huge section of a large cliff fell into the trees below. I was about half a mile away, I wish it was on a clear day and I had my camera on it.

Considering printer ink costs more by volume than human blood...

Your first mistake was buying a suck jet. Friends don't let friends buy any printer with liquid ink. Every single one of them from any manufacturer SUCK! I've been on a crusade against suck jets for as long as I can remember. My users be all like "BuT SuCK jEtS ArE iNExpENSive." NO! They cost a literal fortune to run. My budget pays for all printing in my company. Out of toner, printer broken, what ever? Hits my budget. Except suck jet ink, that comes out of the department budget. Suck jet broken, of course it is, department budget. For small office/home office I recommend Brother Laser printers.

The only 2 printers I've owned was a Lexmark, and an Epson. The Lexmark lacked a real black ink cartridge, so printing even a simple black and white document was slow and sucked down all of the color ink. The Epson was fine unless I didn't use it for a couple weeks. The ink wouldn't work unless I did a head cleaning on it, which of course wastes ink. There's so many random sales on printers, it's cheaper just to replace the whole printer.

    Hmmm.

Gotta be a joke in here somewhere…
