So that cover is what I have on my bumper. I got the bed liner one though I did think about dipping it originally. For me it was a "put it on and forget about it" thing until I decide what steel rear bumper I want after the lift. I'm picky about small dings and I feel I was going to be constantly checking the dipped bumper for marks.

I pulled a 12' U-Haul trailer from Pennsylvania to Virginia. She did OK if you don't mind getting 10 miles to the gallon.

Installed BDS UCAs this past weekend. So not exactly "today" but recently.

    UCA installed.jpg

Yesterday, I used 303 Tire and Rubber cleaner to (mostly) get rid of the mildew/mold/spots on the trim around my back window. I've tried other "cleaners" and soaps that had zero impact. I just sprayed it on, let it sit for a couple of seconds and wiped back and forth several times. After I finished the trim, I went back and washed the truck.

    Before and after:

    weatherstrip dirty.jpg weatherstrip clean.jpg

Planning on getting that and the 200k when I reach 200k.

Pre-COVID I might be there already. Post-COVID I have probably another 2+ years.

Last year I pull one of those trailers loaded to the top, the bed of the truck full and kayaks on the roof racks from Wisconsin to NM. Averaged a hair under 7mpg

You had a lot more drag. Was your 4Runner a V6 or the V8?

Only asking here since this thread probably gets the most viewership, but is there a sticky or thread that lists all the parts one could replace on their Tacoma, with either upgraded Toyota parts from other Toyota vehicles or parts from newer Tacoma's that are mostly bolt-in? What i mean by this is I've heard people putting in Tundra steering racks, Lexus GX or 4runner brakes, etc. etc.

When I had my 1990 Foxbody mustang, when something broke I always tried to replace it with a newer model Mustang part. Like when my steering rack went out I put in a 2003 cobra steering rack, my front spindles were from a 95 mustang GT, my entire rear end was from a 95 Gt, my front brakes were the newer Cobra brakes, my brake booster was from a 93 cobra, my radiator was from a 95 GT, the list goes on and on.

Just curious if Tacoma's are sort of the same way...

Got this from another member. Every part and part number on our trucks. just make sure you're looking under your right model and trim.
Copy and paste that to your browser I think it should work.

It's the Armor Coated (Bed Lined) option. It's glossy, more than I would have liked but I'm hoping it will dull a bit over time. If I did it again I would just say @&$% it and get the paintable ABS one to have it done in Silver Sky Metallic
