Same. I'm waiting for good weather to paint (going with black BBQ paint) and install mine. Even with comprehensive car insurance coverage I'd rather not have the inconvenience.

I'm planning to put some westscott sliders on, I wonder if any of these interfere with any of the crossmember mounting points for the sliders.

Wouldn't we all be better off with just going with transmission skid plates and maybe security hardware?

I think most skids don't protect the cats, at least from the sides. I could be wrong

How convenient that your data stops in 2019, right before the meteoric rise in crime that has occurred in 2020-2021.

Whatever, dude. The original assertion was that there was a correlation between two things. The data shows that correlation is nonexistent. You mention that if you chart the same data one more year, the numbers track a different direction, which still doesn't connect in any way to the original correlation between those two original things. "Convenient that FBI chart leaves off how much I hate sour cream, eh? Yeah, of course you wouldn't show the FBI chart with the sour cream."

Can we get back to talking about cats? I'm about to pull the trigger on some stickers.

    Meteoric?

"The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Sept. 27 release of its annual Uniform Crime Report (UCR) confirmed what many expected: the number of murders rose in 2020 across the U.S. According to the FBI’s data, the percentage of homicides increased 29% from 2019 to 2020. This was the largest single-year increase in murders since the Bureau began tracking such statistics in the 1960s. Across the country, the homicide rate rose from 5.1% (per 100,000 people) to 6.5%.

Overall, violent crime was up 5.6%. Property crimes dropped by 7.8%, however, and the number of robberies and burglaries reported also declined. And earlier this month, the FBI also released its annual hate crime data, which was at the highest level it’s been in 12 years.
    "

Again, your assertion isn't supported by the data.......

My parents had their cat stolen from under their Prius, at Costco, in broad daylight at like 2pm on a Saturday. Absolutely insane. Costco is fucking packed at that time…when they realized the Prius suddenly sounded like a Monster truck, they went inside and security pulled up the cameras—saw the thieves pull up and drive away. Took them less than a minute to do the job in broad daylight.

I live in the country on some property and am not worried about someone stealing it at the house. At the grocery store, running errands, however…definitely considering that Cat security plate now.

I like that the Talon cat plate doesn't need holes drilled and is thick as fuq...but I'm not sure if I like that the TRD skid plate might not sit flat against the frame and might be angled due cat plate and washers being sandwiched in-between the TRD plate and frame.

I do like the way the cat security brand plate is mounted within the TRD plate notch but it seems thinner and I don't want to drill holes.

Anyone with the Talon plate and TRD skid plate. Can you comment on of the TRD skid plate mounting looks angles and funky on the rear mounts after sandwiching in the Talon plate and hardware?
