    Maybe I use too much?

I nearly had a heart attack when I had some pesky rail dust inside my door jamb. I was worried it was the start of something but some panicked claying and I’m golden.

    Now to burn my clothes.

 Yeah, that is a lot of Fluid Film! It should hold up better though...

This is my 6th application, and all 6 have been this heavy. My feeling is at this point the truck is 35% Fluid Film by weight.

I had to remove the K0D plugs at the jacking point to get my 360 degree wand further into the box section.

@jpereira2 or @tacobell007 do you pull plugs in the front wheel well to further snake or just go from the box opening? I’ve never do anything with the front wheel well, but that area is usually not a concern area.

Just snake from the back. I've got the 32" one. I'll also tuck the hose up in the areas near the fuel tank and exhaust where the nozzle doesn't fit

Ah, okay. I actually just measured mine…it’s 32” too! I thought I had the 18”, time to recalibrate my brain.

I will have to check the fuel tank area to see if I miss it.

its a tight spot between the frame and tank so just slide the hose in there a bit to try and get what you can. I am at the point with the amount of woolwax used this year that I might buy the 55 gallon drum next year. I just got in another 5 gallons, think this puts me at about 20 gallons this year.

I just went under and looked. It's definitley been hit in years past, I'm usually pretty good about that and can tell the difference between bare frame and prior applications of material.. My air hose gave out today so I need another one. Whether I decide to go back in there this year or not, I don't know. I'm actually a little bummed out that one of my body grommets at the back of the cab has a little crust around it. I usually hit everything, but I must have missed it.. I doused it with one of my spray cans so I'm going to try and ignore that the best I can. I'm sure it's nothing and I could probably sand off the crust with a nailfile if I really wanted to. I'll see how it looks in the spring and go from there. For now it's simply saturated.

edit, now with pic. You can see it’s barely iffy on one corner (ignore the fluid film). I may go in after the winter with some sandpaper and just topcoat it and reapply. See what it looks like on the other side of the body.

Yeah, with that much Fluid Film, I can see that percent by weight accurate.
But just curious, does most of it wash off by the time you reapply the next time you spray?
Whenever I spray my truck with Woolwax, I don't pull the frame plugs, as the one time I tried, I broke the plug, so I try and use the holes that aren't plugged.

Fleabay. Katzkin doesn't do direct to consumer. You have to go through a dealer, which is just as well because the dealers are about 30% less for the kit than Katzkin direct. They had these in stock and I think the place selling them was in NY, but yeah, they got them out the door quick!.

Those will look great with your interior!

I had cloth in my last truck and leather in this one and the leather is so much easier to keep clean. I really like the Armor All beeswax leather cleaner.

Ha, we went to a small gathering with my girlfriend's family not long after I got this truck. They gave her coffee to go when we left, and the cup started falling apart as we were getting on the highway. Fortunately, I pulled over quickly and she had her winter coat in her lap so it didn't burn her. I did spend hours getting the coffee smell out of my new truck though.

Jesus christ, how often are you guys spraying your trucks?! 1 gallon covered both my truck and a friends truck for two years, aka two applications.
