I want to get this shit done, so I can get going on my truck.

The list is twice as long for my truck.

Visually, (and somewhat functionally, depending on how you look at it) this winter is going to mark the biggest changes to my truck so far.

Well... Didn't get the entire list done today. But at least we were able to get it back down on 4 wheels.

    Re-install oil pan
    Re-install diff intermediate shaft
    Re-install starter
    Install new CVs
Install new Pitman arm, Idler arm, Idler arm bracket
    Re-install center link
    Re-install steering stabilizer
    Replace steering stabilizer bushings
Install new inner and outer tie rods
    Re-install sway bar
    Re-install and adjust torsion bars
    Torque new lower control arms
Adjust and torque new adjustable Upper Control arms
    Reinstall spindles and calipers
    Replace valve cover gaskets
    Replace PCV valve
    Replace spark plugs
    Replace spark plug wires
    Fill oil
    Fill diff oil
    Reconnect battery
    Reprogram performance chip

Really, all we didn't get to was the valve covers and the spark plugs. Doesn't seem like we got much done today looking at the list from yesterday, compared to today. lol

The front seems like it still needs to come down a bit. Hopefully it will settle. Pic was taken about 5 minutes after it was sitting under it's own weight. The torsion keys have a few more turns on them to lower, if needed.

Thing that sucks about doing this work on a truck someone else lifted, is I'm not sure what was done. Not sure if the torsion keys are stock or if they are lifting torsion keys.

    ✔ Spark plugs replaced

Ordered some new plug wires because, fuck it why not?

Plus the boot at the plug on the driver side near the fire wall seems worn out. It didn't seem to want to snap on right.

She damn better be happy with her truck when I'm done lol

Another day in the Silverado 1500 saga.

Valve covers came off pretty easy. I think they may have needed a bit of cleaning.

    20211019_175017.jpg

Plug wires already got here from Summit. (I just ordered them last night)

    20211019_185946.jpg

We ran out of daylight, and I'm not in a hurry enough to dick with drop lights so we'll button this bitch up tomorrow. That should be a wrap on this truck... for now.

If you need the shims to fit the extension adapter plate, I think I have some left over from when I did mine. Are you going all-in with the big wheels?

I am (most likely) going that direction. But I've got quite a few other things to get started.

This winter is going to be a lot of work.

Ah, nevermind. I did the DIY 1.5 ton with the Pro Eagle extension. Wanted the lightest setup with the smallest footprint.

I like the pro eagles, but couldn’t justify the price
The ProEagle and the 911motorsport conversions are almost identical weight, but the 911MS are about half the price
