Well common sense with current events there’s going to be a major delay. Doesn’t sound like you’re willing to wait for that. They probably not answering the phone because they don’t have an answer or they’re limited staffing because of the stupid rules of small business out here in commie Fornia. Maybe find someone here that you can make friends with in the local area to cruise over and find out directly. I don’t know but most people these days have zero patience.

 

A little insider secret. Don’t get any other color but black. It’s the longest lasting and the best quality. The colored stuff doesn’t last as long and is actually thinner.

 

I trust the product and that’s why I made the purchase but to wait this long with no update after they took my money back in August is pretty bad customer experience. I’m hoping if I call tomorrow they will have some good news..

Couple of weeks ago I ordered the Carhart seat covers - arrived 5 days later.
They're perfect for me and my Tucker (that's him on the left) has already given them the muddy paws test...

Just ordered mine 1.5 weeks ago. They told me 8-10 week wait for them to arrive.

My original order was a long wait, I remember. That was in mid 2018, pre pandemic of course.

I began to order a replacement driver's seat cover as, after just about three years, they have worn a hole in a spot. They gave me the time frame (I forget how long, but it was unreasonable) so I've decided to find something else...

Am not real happy at the prospect of having to replace from wear every few years anyway, especially at the prices they charge.. F' em. High price, Low quality, Slow Service.... UNACCEPTABLE.... whatever the reason.

 

I just ordered some Rough Country neoprene seat covers. I received them in less than 48 hours with the free shipping option.
I just installed them this afternoon and they fit and feel awesome!
I have never used the Wet Okole ones but I have used Covercraft on my old Tacoma.
I am very impressed with the Rough Country covers. Both front and rear were $200. While you don’t get to customize the colors like other brands, the black looks great!
Great product, great delivery time, great price!

 

Mine survived the intense AZ summer heat this year, so you know they’ll be ok in any region. Cant believe i wasted money on wet okoles in my past tacomas!

 

Another thing I noticed about the Rough Country covers is that they had very little obnoxious neoprene smell upon opening the packaging. My Covercraft neoprene seat had off gasses for days following.
I may look into options into covering the RC lettering in the future though.

 

Update for you - my order was placed on 7 Sept and delivered today, quick 1 hour install, happy.

 

I got my Rough Country set covers in 3 days. Installed them the other night. Very happy with my $200 seat covers.

Quick question about Okole and Rough Country and electrically controlled seats. I have Okole on my old 1997 with fully manual seats. My new 2021 will have the driver side 10 way electric seat adjustments. I note that RC says the cover does not have cut-outs for the controls, which I assume is also the case for Okole... but does that mean you cannot use the controls at all? Or that you need to feel them through the fabric? (Or some other solution...). I have enjoyed having the seat covers, especially during rainy season in the PacNW.

 

You can use them just fine, but the neoprene covers the controls. It's not really a big deal. You can feel them through the fabric and they are fairly intuitive. It's not like you actually look at them when you use them while seated in the truck.
