Ratcheting cargo bar, Harbor Freight or Tractor Supply Co. like $20-$23. I'm on my second HF one in 5 years with daily heavy use for tools and materials, was like $15 with coupon. I do have a factory bed mat that helps with sliding.

I love having the factory bed mat, well worth the cost, keeps groceries in place as well as tools, lumber, pretty much anything below the sides of the bed. Also easier on the old knees than the bed ridges when I have to spend any time back there ie camping.

Just cosmetic: Window Tint, radio knobs, temp control knobs, Tech-Deck, Tonneau bed cover, tail gate lock, de-chromed all badges inside and out, installed back up camera and custom bedside decals.
I may swing over to my local Harbor Freight now

For light stuff (groceries, etc.), I've used a Honda Pilot cargo organizer. The straps are sewn into the organizer and ripped when I overloaded it once.

For heavier stuff, I bolted D-rings to a plastic storage crate and used cambuckle straps. Only drawback is the rattle over bumps. Using it in conjunction with a bedmat would probably quiet it down.

I use a bed net when needed and wrap things up in it and carabiner it to cap brackets and D rings. Store it in cubby when not in use.

I do this same concept but on a budget. I string heavy duty bungee cords and connect them to the rails. They form a pretty solid line and then put some utility type crates behind them from Home Depot. Works great

costco instacrates + horse stall mat

they're nice because when you're not using them they can fold up and dont take up much space. They also hold a lot of weight.

I also bought a bed cargo net at Harbor Freight, it’s relatively handy.
