Sometime in the coming week, we actually have a spare 3rd gen pickup 6lug axle too (needs a new axle seal)

Yanking out fender aprons on Toyotas usually results in disappointment (as does owning a FJ cruiser)

Yeah I remember reading the Brandon Lee incident happened because someone didn't check the gun that was supposed to make sure it wasn't loaded. But in the end, no one was charged because it was ruled an accident. I'm sure the same thing happened this time and now that it's happened twice, they'll probably be putting in some new standards for checking the weapons on sets now. At least I'd hope so

Low mile newer FJs are insane right now. My ex-not girlfriend’s father paid like 39K for her 2014 trail team with a supercharger. That was before the used car market blew up too.

What's crazy is how hard it is to find a manual trans 1st gen CRV right now. I want one as a winter beater and I can't even find a shitty one with a D series engine.

Ya even before Covid times, used FJ Cruisers were bringing in big $$$...resale on them has always been higher than Tacomas. Probably even crazier now

That interstate from here to UT is one of the most boring drives in the world I swear. Then you have to go through Vegas in the middle of it, to add insult to injury

I don't see why.. My coworker had one before he got maiired and moved to Cali which I rode in a few times. Thing felt like a death trap and reeked of cheapness. Plus they're ugly asf. I think his was a 2012 or something

I used to hate them more than I do now, but they can look OK when done up right. But stock, yeah...they look like a Lego man should be behind the wheel

They get pretty abysmal MPGs by modern SUV standards and I've heard the visibility from the driver's seat is really bad when trying to look anywhere but straight ahead. I've never ridden in one though

I think the resale on them went sky high because Toyota stopped making them - suddenly everyone wants what they can't have
