How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

I thought the factories were making 2022’s now.

They are still making 2021’s ???

 

It’s all 2022 as far as Tacoma. No mas’ 2021’s

 

Im assuming one is still producing the 2021 and the other is rolling out 2022.

The build site is still up for 2021 and plenty of inventory still left in there in all the different zip codes I put in. Why or how that makes sense who knows.

Not at all. This could all just be Toyota lagging on updating the website and what not but I looked up a local dealer and they had a few 2022 listed as In Stock and then had some 2021 listed as In Transit.

Last I heard from the dealer was that mine was in "ground truck" status, and would most likely arrive on the 19th or 20th. I'm still waiting though. These last few days are tough.

 

I had a MT Pro ordered back in march. I was told I would never get my lunar rock MT pro back in august. I was at the top of the list for any new tacoma at that point. I got a call two weeks ago saying that an offroad lunar rock MT was to be built on 10/21. I snagged it and i'm just waiting to hear the updates from the dealership now.

 

I spoke too soon. They called right after I posted earlier today, saying it was in.

 

Any idea if ground truck means the same thing as freight? Mine has been in freight status for over a week.

 

I'm not sure what it means exactly. I would assume that it's been moved onto a trailer for the final leg of transport, but it's only an assumption. I can say though that they told me that on Tuesday, and by this morning, I had the truck.

I'll chime in on the "Almost New Truck Day" support group here... my truck is due to arrive today. I went to the Taco Bell across the street for lunch, snagged a booth by the window, and watched for a semi truck to arrive with a green Tacoma aboard, but no luck yet.

Once it gets there today, they're keeping it for the weekend to install seat heaters and a remote tailgate lock, then I can pick it up Monday morning! Going to Line-X a week later for paint protection film (half the dealership's price) and rocker panel protection.
