Does anybody else love the smell of a fresh application of Fluidfilm burning off from the exhaust?

    But the real question is:

Before or after you rub it on your truck?

One for me.... one for the truck.... one for me.... one for the truck....

He only did his driveway which was like 100'. I know our trucks can handle it.

I've been meaning to ask out of genuine curiosity
@Calamity_taco why wasn't a Ridgeline on your list of considerations for a new truck?

because it isnt a truck its a suv with the back cut off its gross and a pos so no thanks lol

but that plan has changed as nice as it would be to get a new truck and just get rid of my problems and headaches with it..... which would be really nice..... i do happen to like that dumb thing so the plan is to sell my si to get out of a loan and fix my finances a bit and get more money in savings and to buy a older civic si or toyota or acura or something thats manual and still fun and zippy to drive back and forth to work and modify a little bit.
ive been in a float or sink situation for awhile now and its been very stressful and annoying that i cant afford to do well anything but stay at home anymore... so getting rid of a loan and getting cheaper insurance will be really nice because mine is rather expensive with everything(the si takes a lot of it tbh)

i think thats about everything lol

Hmm all that low end torque definitely isn't ideal for plowing.

weak little truck vs a full size v8 or diesel truck with a strong frame that will take the abuse of a plow....

ive done snow removal years ago for a family members company there is a reason you see 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons doing the work and not little trucks

Puny. We use 5/4 tons for the little stuff, 10 tons for the normal stuff, and 20 ton trucks for the mid sized stuff (leave the big stuff to the state lol)

Hope he's a long distance friend. A bit cold to daily a bike here for too much of the year, haha.

I'd looooooove to get a dual sport bike to run lil errands around town and go to tracks with and such. I miss motocross. I know if I got an actual motorcycle I'd end up killing myself with it at some point. Always wanted a Ninja, though.

Can't knock ya for wanting to be out of a payment. Much more financially responsible. Just make sure to do the math and outline the plan before selling/buying shit. I know that's obvious advice but people get themselves stuck if they don't think into the future. If you can daily your older Civic, you're golden. Even with the broken down truck though, you have a lot of people who seem willing to help you out when things go wrong with the truck.

That's why I got another Corolla. Would've loved a Camry, and Josh tried to convince me to get what I wanted, but I simply don't need it, and the payment would've had us paying more than I wanted and probably strapped to only paying the minimum to get by. That's why I was originally so attached to the idea of getting an 11th gen; it was in my price range, was gonna pay half off and use the remaining 6k to just build some more credit. Just because I have a bit of income now doesn't mean I'm willing to raise our standard of living; my income could go away in an instant. Crunched the numbers, decided to put down a near 50% deposit and dip into some surgery money, and we should hopefully be able to pay a bit extra per month. My aim is to get 5 year loans that I can pay off in 3-4.

There's definitely a right balance between fun and being savvy.
Being fiscally responsible isn't as fun, but the stress it saves later is welllllll worth it

haha nah he lives here and works up here with me and josh he rides almost year round until snow or ice hits then he parks it and drives his mustang. ya ive always wanted a bike but man to use as my main daily? dont think i could do that one tbh

ya after adding things up with going to a ranger i still wouldnt be able to work on my 98 as much so i looked into things some more and thought well i dont really need the si why not get rid of it and get an older si thats still fun for cheaper? and it turned out id save a lot more a month with no loan and my insurance being really cheap. also i wouldnt be driving my red 98 that car needs far more work to make it a daily its a project car and it will stay as that tbh.

ya i feel you on that one gotta get whats good for you and will work.
