Seems like 4 wheelers to carry new tires down, then drag it back would be quicker, but hey, I'm not there.

I studied that skid on pause. It looks like an OEM skid plate and it was crumpled like a piece of foil! I just ordered a 1/4" aluminum for mine!

I absolutely love watching Matt and the gang! Hell, I don't know him but I'd darn sure give him the keys to my house.

Definetly a lot of money in that truck, not to have skid plates. TC uppers, bypass shocks, even TC cam tab gussets. Bet you he has skid plates now, lol. I watch Matt and Fab Rats regularly. I missed this one, as i tend to lean more to the build videos, but have been watching the nugget rescue. Can't wait to see what Paul does to it.

If he is in good w the city, they will get him a good lawyer, some "fines" later, and he'll be business as usual. If not they can do an episode "well get them out, of jail"

    Edit, damn

One time might be a mix-up however unless this is all untrue, there's a clear pattern here.

Not gonna lie, all of the allegations sound like normal little things that lots of people may not see as a big problem. Not that any of that's ok - however when you're all over the internet there's going to be a lot of attention coming your way and it'll be easier to get caught.

Wow!…love watching M’sOR channel, but insurance fraud is nothing to be messing around with. If he’s an approved towing company with AAA, then he already knows their rules before they would allow him to work for their customers. Unfortunately, AAA has many more lawyers on their payroll then he does.

I refuse to pass judgement on this one until it's settled. Like most if not all of us, I only know Matt through the videos but I fail to see a criminal character flaw in this man. Like mentioned above about high profile exposure, he's a genuinely good guy and I wonder if there's a little butt hurt going on in the ranks of IFD?

AAA providers rip them off all the time. About 10 years ago my GF van broke down by Ellery Lake. We called AAA and they sent out a flatbed from a local provider. Ellery Lake to Bishop is about 75 miles. Easily within AAA free tow range.

Driver shows up and loads the van. He takes down the info and tells me he's going to put our location down as Lembert Dome. Turns out they get a much larger chunk of change if the tow originates inside the park. I seriously doubt I'm the only person they've done that with. I'm more then willing to bet most people that break down on Tioga Pass Road outside of the park are marked down as being towed from inside the park.

Usually, people who come off super “wholesome” are the ones you have to watch out for. Just expect everyone to be trash and you won’t disappointed. Either way, the dude got sloppy and got caught. He’ll probably get it dropped to community service or some shit and will likely just get rewarded in the end with more followers and press.
