We used to see motorcycles with locks punched out with screwdrivers and beat to crap. Maybe I was a wee bit too serious?

 

I know stealing keyed cars isn't actually any harder, but my hope is that the thieves will be so focused on their RFID tech that they'll leave my little key lock alone. Wishful thinking probably, just like I hope they won't know how to drive a stick.

Of course someone stole my brother's POS '94 Saturn (MT) a few years back, thing was probably worth at most $500, so I guess I just don't understand how thieves think...

 

Try Volcano Creek. They're loggers and cant never find people. They are from down there someplace. I'll call and see the ins and outs. I'm assuming you want to drive?

It does remind of of back (25yrs ago!) when a stubby flat head screwdriver served as my '64 Lambretta 'key'.
I could hide it in the glovebox tool kit, lol!
(And yeah, you can laugh but i still think Lambrettas are the shizzz)

 

I'd prefer not to drive but I can and am licensed. I'll look into them!

 

My friends 4runner was recovered in the Tenderloin. Small things were taken. His runner is a keyed SUV.
