Ok, I know it's not overlanding, but do you guys ever just use a crockpot with the outlet in the bed? I'm going to my daughter's XC meet tomorrow and bringing chili. Planning to tailgate out of the Taco and wondering if this is going to work. Also, show me your setups if you have done anything special to facilitate this.

    Thanks!

Others have gone down that path before! Go for it. I wish I would have thought of that when my son was in XC. Just make sure its secure. Good luck at the races!

Check the power draw from the crockpot and compare with what the taco supports.

I read "Crackhead in the bed?" for a second. I don't think there are any crackheads in North Dakota

When I drove a service truck every day for work, I had a crock put that plugged into the cig lighter. Used to drive around with it cooking delish food on the floor board all day. It was torture smelling it

Unfortunately, this is true. We used to be able to say that the cold keeps the riff raff out, but not any longer...

Not positive but I’m pretty sure it’ll pull too much power.
