They would have to me made here, like French Fries are.

Do you guys call them French Fries or Chips in Canada?

I lived in Australia, and they used about 50% British terms and 50% American terms... with the u added to color, harbor, etc. Oh, and tire was spelled tyre. Oil or Corn came in a tin, but Coke came in a can... stuff like that. A flashlight was called a torch... the trunk of a car was the boot... the engine was under the bonnet... it used petrol... You see out through a 'windscreen'...

They are chips in fish n chips but we call them " beaver sticks " in everything else. French or freedom fries is a US thing .

Bet you don't have these down there either , they are yummy and maple syrupy .

Lol... Reminds me of this guy that thinks he is a "know it all" when it comes to anything automotive. He has zero shop experience, prob never changed a tire on a car... but his opinions on what people drive should be taken into consideration... Well long story short, he drives a 04 Hyndai sonata, but yet talks shit about my Taco, he sayes Frontiers are better. He thinks Toyota's are shitty made vehicles but yet there's facts proving that Toyota's are quality made vehicles. I asked him if he has never driven, a Taco or Frontier, he never driven both, so his opinion went down the drain. So one day i caught him saying his "Sonata" drives like a brand new Lexis... Then i loud capped him saying Lexus is a Toyota... He really hasn't attempted to make another comment about my Tacoma ever since.

I have lost alot of respect for gm and chrysler because of the bailouts. companies that cannot succeed on their merits should not be helped out by the goverment. the taxpayers lost money they will never get back.

Yeah, the Spark Plug breaking on the F150s is a bitch to fix.

i may sound like a fanboy, but a lot of gm vehicles are used for government purposes, and they are generally good

chrysler on the other hand, let em fail!

yea i like fords, but fuck those 4 threads holding on the spark plugs in the early 5.4l v8s ... the ford approved fix if you arent under warranty (which nobody still is) is $4400!!! (according to popular mechanics)

furthermore .... the 6.8l v10 ... similar problems and they kill gas

and their diesels have sucked ever since they did away with the 7.3 in 2003 .... (the 05-07 6.0s supposedly have a better track record than the 03-04 but have still heard of plenty of problems) .... whoever made the 6.4l diesel in the 08-10 should be drug out into the street and shot ... and well see what happens with this new ford designed 6.7l thats in the 2011+ sd's

i am somewhat excited about that new v6 ecoboost they are offering in the f150 i will say .... if its reliability is as good as its gas mileage toyota is in serious trouble in the full size department IMO

I once was a F150 fan boy, i still have my F150 that i keep at a camp, was a decent truck till i hit 100k, had to replace the gearing in the Transmission, on two occasions the alternator went out while i was driving.. After that the electronics went to shit.
I agree, with you say. Fords Diesels are at the bottom, compared to the competition. Power Strokes were good, but after the Super Duty Series came out their Diesels went to shit. Id take a Cummins over a Super Duty anyday.

I just don't like the C channel frame on my Tacoma, i admit it's weak.. Not like Domestic fan boys.. They won't admit to the countless defects that their trucks have. In their eyes Domestics are 100% bullet proof, when in reality they can barley last 100k.

i wont clown mileage figured on v8 domestics in that regard, my dad had a 91 bronco that had no problems at 223k when he sold it, and the only big repairs that cost a lot was the breaks going out and the "squeakers" not warning him about it, same thing happened on the 99 mazda i had

as for the frame, if i lived somewhere where roads got salted, i would NOT own a toyota.
