Actually...yes, a lot of his older customers prefer the gas or propane stoves because they're a lot less work but Dan still likes to sell the wood fired ones because that's what he started out with.

Meh on the gas/propane stoves.

I mean, what's the point?
With wood, you're not dependent on anybody...if worse comes to worst.
Like in a genuine emergency...so keep some on hand.

And of course prices are going up big time.
Last I checked the price for natural gas in Europe is at $210 BOE (barrels of oil equivalent, meaning BTU content).
Now, we have domestic supply and are somewhat insulated, but there will be ripple effects.
WTI (West Texas Intermediate) oil is at $83.98 as of now.
To the extent industry and power generation can switch to oil (and they will), that's going up as well.

Sorry, off on a tangent there.
