Went to moon rocks last night to check it out. Pretty sick. Didn’t do anything crazy. Tried a few hill climbs. Had to reverse down one since I wasn’t comfortable with anyone else with me spotting. I’ll have to go back sometime with people I trust to spot me. Still awesome to see.

I'm just patiently waiting until tomorrow. This storm system that's coming in Sun-Mon is huge. By this time tomorrow I'll be over 10000' doing the first snow wheeling of the year. Stoked.

If you want to come down to Bishop to play I'd show you around. If the totals are to be believed a rear locker would be mandatory and a front locker will probably see use if equipped. I'll be heading out about 11 or so.

It's supposed to be the single biggest moisture tap liquid precip wise in the last 20 years. I'm gonna call BS until it actually dumps 5 feet. lol

Big Agnus and Mountain Hardwear are my go to manufacturers for tents. They ain't cheap but it's a buy once, cry once kind of thing.

I hope they're right. Current estimates are 1-3 feet in higher elevations but could be more. We need to the precip and I need to know when to start takin my extended weekends to get at least 50 days on the mountain

My wife and I have the BA COPPER SPUR HV UL 2. It's the best tent I've ever had. They way BA designed the High Volume series is rad. The tent walls go go straight up. That leaves PLENTY of head room. It's also light as hell for a 2 person. It's been in raging downpours in the Sierra's over the last 3 years and hasn't leaked a drop. Highly recommend.

no shit? I am just concerned about space is all. I bought one of these https://www.rei.com/product/892837/rei-co-op-kingdom-cot-3 best cot every fucking made, so comfy . two of these plus the two doggos. think that tent will be enough? its nice I dig it. I like the idea of using two hiking poles, But I would never use them/dont have any https://www.rei.com/product/164818/mountain-hardwear-trango-4-tent this tent is solid, and its a 4 season. well made.

The best way to find out is to go to REI and set them both up. That's the only way to be sure about the actual usable space. The BA tent we have is actually slightly smaller footprint wise then the retired MH 2 person Sky Ledge. In reality the BA feels WAY more roomy.

I know, the selection is very small though. thats what sucks. They the REI in reno usually only carries single and two person tents.
