I didn't do a trade in. You are right, I bet no Toyota dealer who do that swap. I sold my truck to a Nissan dealer for $35k, which was at the low end of the KBB private party range then I bought my new one from a Toyota dealer for straight msrp $34,xxx + TTL. Nothing radical at all with the prices, other than the crazy price of used trucks these days (KBB screenshot below). The dealer now has my 2018 SR listed for $39,995 but who knows what it will actually sell for.

Scored some SR5 wheels for my snow tires, originally had a set of steelies, but decided I didn’t want the unsprung weight. Gotta love that Tacos are popular, super easy finding take-offs. Kinda funny how it used to be, bought my first Toyota in the late 80s, ‘85 4Runner and was teased for buying Jap Crap, not like that anymores!

For sure, it is nice how easy it is to score TRD OR and SR5 wheels. I just sold my SR for a new one and tossed on some OR wheels so I could keep my 4Runner Pro wheels.

Yeah OR wheels are everywhere, considered a set of those as well. Liked these gray SR5 wheels when they first came out. Just a matter of waiting for them to pop up on FB market place locally. This was one of three sets I found.

Looked at Rangers, but they don’t even come close for take-offs. Even found a barely used color matched cab high Leer topper with windoors too. $1000 cheaper than new, and no wait time either. Literally picked it up 2 days after I bought the truck.

Installed the ARB Rated Recovery Point (mostly). Just gotta figure out the last bit of hardware on one point but I'm not planning on getting pulled out of anywhere until then.

I replaced mine with one from BuiltNKO. Was kinda squeaky after the install and the top silver TSS sensor bolt did not fit the grille but I made it work and it was $200 so overall I'm satisfied

Edit; well, $150 + TSS sensor cover

I wouldn’t mind the OR Cheesegrater grill painted black, think I am one of the few people that actually likes it. Guys are practically giving them away. Unfortunately TSS won’t work with it.

Really, don't they still put that grill on newer ORs with TSS? I liked the grill on my '18 SR but don't like the one on my new '22 as much. I also think the cheese grater grill would look nice in satin black.

They changed it, looks like massive expanded metal now. Reminds me of my masonry days working with metal lath.

Yeah satin black would look killer on my MGM.

Yep, that new one is ugly! I'm thinking of keeping the '22 SR grill or going for the played out but still cool heritage grill without the Raptor lights though, perhaps with Bronze lettering if I can somehow get bronze letter onto my 4Runner Pro wheels....

I don’t mind the SR grill. Don’t see it very often, kinda nice being a little different than crowd.
