I had this 1986 Turbo truck for while, bought it built and wheeled it. That tiny little factory turbo def made a difference over other 22re's I wheeled with. Had dual cases, 4.7 gears in rear case, spools front and rear, full hydro, 114 wheelbase, 4 linked rear, 6 shooter knuckles, longfields, etc etc

My old 77, should have never parted it out!
Had a 2rz, trans/tcase tucked up into the cab, cage, tons, 40s/42s, etc. Even daily drove it for 6 months on the 40s.

My 1st truck, got it when I was 15. Started out mint, then destroyed it over a couple years.
    FB_IMG_1634137969305.jpg

And one of my 4runners that I built. Caged, turbo 2rz, duals, tons, 39.5s, etc. Daily drove it for a year

1983 Toyota, 22R 5 speed. 80k Miles. Inside looks brand new. I used a claybar, and other goodies from griots to bring the paint back to life. but I love this bitch!

I know! Starts up on the first turn everytime. Shes a bit rough in cold weather, takes about 20 mins to warm her up to drive. Fun truck. I put 12 sand bags in the rear in the winter time for better traction, rode back and forth to work for two winters. Old faithfull. No rust, straight body. I found this beauty in a barn. someones dad bought it new in 83, always kept it in the barn. He passed and it sat for years. Very min work to get it road worthy again.

I don't blame you. I did the Amazon led conversion on my runner. Made night driving hell of a lot better.
