Took some night shots. The1st 2 pictures are taken in as dark as it gets around here. 3rd has street lights. Definitely can see the light difference from stock.

Anyone know where to get a good hood decal for flat (non-scooped) hood?

there was a site that sold several versions of various widths/lengths. Not sure which one I want yet.

    TIA

Replaced the lower heim bearing on the driver's side shock using Icon's service kit P/N 611067. The Spirolox retaining rings came out easy with just a pocket screwdriver. I used a ball joint press with a couple of sockets. Putting the old bearing and bushings next to the new ones, the bushing shank that broke off inside the bearing is clearly visible:

Also replaced the upper ball joint boot using SPC kit 25477. The boots on both sides developed a tear where they contacted the coil at full droop. I will do the passenger side boot tomorrow.

Those of you with spindle gussets and ball joint UCAs, what puller do you use to separate the upper ball joint from the spindle? The pitman arm puller I used previously no longer fits with the gussets.

Put in the meso vent rings today. Not perfectly flush but close enough. I think if you went with the black ones it'd be less noticeable

717CE2D0-9481-4978-8833-949E345C470D.jpg Truck was OV TUNED since 300+ miles first week off the lot and now she reached her 10k miles took her in got it done with oil change and tires rotation and also upgraded from OV tune to CVC tune. Truck runs a lotta smoother. Would like to try KDMAX tune then follow up by SIBI tune in the future. Have anyone experience all these tunes and which one you like better.

I’m on my second Tacoma too, 13 years with the other one until some bonehead made an unsafe turn in an intersection. I was tempted to trade in my Voodoo Blue for AG, but it’s paid off and I didn’t want to lose anything and pay more for another truck. Love my color too. Yours is more like Marine Green. I served with Marines, my RCAF Squadron always had one Marine exchange fighter pilot in it, great guys.

I put one of those little spring loaded Res Q Me tools on my keychain and in my glove box. They cut seatbelts and break tempered glass no problem. I avoid the hammer types because it's hard to swing underwater, though. For maybe $20 it's very cheap insurance.

Took the Taco for a lap around the legendary Nurburgring. People either shook their head in disbelief, or were laughing hysterically, either way it was an absolute riot!
