If you have big brand cordless tool: Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt you could share batteries.
    Or alternately ---
You could use the blower purchase to justify buying cordless tools to share the batteries...

Flux Capacitor still acting up; could need some adjustment. Guessing it's just stuck in the past. Or, maybe, it's just me!

On the other hand, I can't BELIEVE what it does for the bass Amp! Like consistently +30% more bottom at the same settings. I mainly bought it because I wanted to protect my battery, which has acted up in the past. I really didn't expect any difference in the audio. Even at low volume, it makes a difference. My normal listening range is vastly improved.

I DID check. If I wanted to, I could easily be that neighbor driving down the street with his trunk rattling!

Good morning everyone. We finished up bottling our honey for this year - ended up with 110 pounds. Yum.

Replaced the recoil spring with a NOS USGI one in my 1944 M1911A1 and that cured the minor issues I was having with it. Glad I didn't need to send it back to CMP!! Also fin ally completed one last M4A1 AR build I've been working on for a few years. Need to take it out and put some rounds through it.

Time to get the UTV and ATV ready for winter, I guess. Pool is closed now. I need to turn off and drain the hose bibs, too.

The county is replacing the bridge on the road that runs through our property - starts work on Monday - they dropped the detour signs off yesterday. That will add about 2 miles to our trips headed south from the house. Original estimate was for amonth to complete...but they also said it would be done by now.

    Stay safe out there.

    Morning
Lots of winter prep going on.
    I have leaves

Need to wait a few more weeks before the final mow. So might do another quick one
    today…
I know I’m going to have to pull the sweeper out when the time comes.

Went for a ride in my boys new UTV.

Didn’t know in spots around his house you can actually legally ride down the road
    for a looooong way.
Very impressed with traction through axle deep mud in 2wd.
I walked over a dam good size log with it.
    Should have taken some pics.
    Pretty cool but dam expensive..

I have the EGO and bought it mainly to blow off vehicles after washing. My son does use it for light leaf blowing. We also have a handheld Echo blower and a backpack Echo blower for when the leaves really come down.

Going to give the Holly trees a final season trim today. The Echo trimmer on a stick is the way to go.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Folks! Horns can't break my heart this week - BYE! Not a lot of good games I see on schedule, so it looks like a solid putz for the day. I'm done with serious (or not) work for the week!

    There's Mark. Now where's Ken?

I as invited to a dinner party in Jersey back in the day. A record producer's home. He had a magnificent sound system for the times. We were the first people outside of the studio to hear Billy Joel's Piano Man album. They also played Geno Vanelli's first album, Crazy Life, first time heard outside the studio.

The new "pole barn" is coming along. Still wondering how to get the trusses up after cancelling due to Covid. Wife and I are doing well, so there is that.

It's 24X24 and nine feet to the top of the walls.

Well, I worked my butt off preparing for winter to day. Took me a whole 5 minutes to change the filter in the heater. Oh, I did make sure the spa was properly chlorinated so we can use it on our cold winter nights. Darn this winter thing on the beach in SoCal is exhausting.

Hey, I figure if folks not smart enough to live here can complain about winter I might as well join them.:crapstorm:

Good morning, having my morning coffee an waking up. Roofers are coming this morning to lay the roof down on the garage. Rain is also coming this afternoon, I'm hoping they get done before the rain comes. I'll be so relieved when the roof is done.

    Morning all.

Turned on the heat this morning :annoyed:
Closed and locked the windows, replaced the screen door screen with the glass.

Plan on getting the quad and snowblower ready.

    That's enough for today!

    Good morning Mark.

Send some rain to Maryland. We have not had a good soaker for 2 months now.

I am going to the Health Clinic this morning. Last week I was around some relatives that were sick, my SIL developed Pneumonia in the left lung. My systems are mild cough and a little congestion but in these time it pays to be cautious. I will let you know what the doc's find out.

It seems like the common cold has evolved. I've been blaming it on getting old, but sometimes I wonder. Good wishes...

Roofers are here! They started at 8:30 even with frost on the roof. They'll have this done in no time.
    First few shingles going on.
