    Welcome, the towing section here has some great info. I too tow a travel trailer with my Tacoma. While it isn’t the ideal tow rig it does okay and you just have to have realistic expectations.

    I have VSC but does that help as far as towing goes. Does the Tacoma come stock with sway bars if not recommendations. I have a good weight distribution hitch but I am more concerned about the wind if there is anything that would help? Does the ETC help with towing?

    I always tow in S4/S5 with Ect on. If you are a manual then never mind the S4/5 bit. Depending upon the size of your trailer expect it to be a wind sail. Coming back from central Washington we had some huge gusts of wind that were even blowing semi’s from one side of the lane to the other. As long as the truck and trailer are moving as a single unit you “should” be fine. If the trailer is swaying then adding something with sway control is a good idea.
