My 2020 Tacoma came with 245/75r16 HT tires. After 52k miles I'm thinking of upgrading to a more agressive off-road tire size 265/75r16 with 18/32 tired depth. With stock suspension and height will they rub while trail riding?

No they will not. They might “touch” the mudflaps but that’s about it.

Welcome to TW by the way!

    Bone stock SR5.
Mine have been good on mud and assorted crap out on the farm.
No rubbing on anything at any angle or how far the wheels are turned.

Should be fine on stock wheels. Anything with significant offset can cause rubbing

Update: My ever so lovely wife and I banter back and fourth over her 19 camery and my 20 Tacoma. I say her car is for grandmother's going bingo. She says my truck is a total shit bucket when parked next to her car. Yesterday she ever so politely pointed out the air dam and how it assed up the look of my truck. Her exact words. Well she got me there. Never noticed before. It's gonna be gone in a few minutes. Lol

Every time I walk past my truck I try to imagine what it would look like with the air dam gone, a TRD skid plate installed, and some demon brackets with D ring hooks. The truck is a 4x2 sport and may see the occasional dirt or gravel road (or grass) at most, so the change would be mostly for looks. I'm itching to pull the trigger!

Yep. I was just looking at skid plates and demon brackets. So now it's begun. As I pull the lid off the money pit in front of me and compare it to my wallet. One is definatly deeper than the other. Lol

FYI the 265/75R16 or 265/70R16 can come in P, SL, LT, or E range depends on your use and the ride quality you want so look up the ratings and you may have to key in on the tire part # to determine. Compare them on the tire sites and look at max inflation, load, weight, buyers ratings and tread life warranty.
Look at the Wheels and Tires forum section.

I'm getting E range. I've been looking into inflation comparisons for the best wear.

I love em. They DO sing on asphalt. But it's nothing unbearable. They work off-road extremely well for me. Dirt, mud, gravel. Even cow shit. Lol plus I haven't had a flat in 30k. And I've had them in some shale rock. I'm gonna get 50k miles outa this set. I will buy another. For the price and weight of the tires I couldn't ask for any better.

So after 56,000 miles ( which I think was really good) they have to go. The last 20,00 they got pretty loud but not horrible. However they did vibrate quite a bit up to 40 mph due to being scalloped. The outside lugs still hold pretty well. So all things considered they worked well for what I wanted. If someone wants a lite E rated MT tire then I recommend Cooper Evolution MT. Only drawback is they have gone up between 60 and 80 bucks a tire.

I second the Falken Wildpeaks as a great tire choice. Holding up well after 25K miles, quiet on highways, and aggressive enough when off road.
