Whoah. Very cool - I love the integrated sun shade and the insulation / weight savings afforded by the double-pane acrylic.

Do you think you'll miss being able to grab gear through the side? (It looks like max 60% opening, right?)

I wonder if you can drive with it cracked at the 20% setting.

I love these windows. Can they be opened from the outside?

Never had it before on my other drifter and it wasn't too big of a deal, but I will be happy to have a window to look outside. I missed that a lot.

Thanks dude. But that’s the double cab not the crew max.

Give me a month or three and hopefully there will be lots of a pics of a crewmax on here. I got measurements from Phil. The cab overhang ends right at the split between the front and back door. The main camper portion shrinks by 12" and the overhang increases by 12 inches.

Yes I did the same earlier last month! He said they powder coat them so they match which is awesome! You hardly see them when black on black.

Powdercoated is way better than anodized that will turn purple in about a year of SoCal sun…

Finally paid my final invoice for my camper! im build #197

    Anyways,
I have a bed rug in my 2005 tundra, wondering if you guys think I should redo it and install insulation underneath the bedrug or if the bedrug has enough insulation.

Im thinking if I put reflectix, I wont be able to install the bedrug since I'll lose the grooves that the bed rug fits in

My 2 pennies: Leave the rug and if necessary put in something over it. I put in a rubber backed rug cut to size which served me well for quite a number of months until I damaged it. I just pulled it out and replaced it. It may have also helped some with temperature mitigation in winter, but cannot be too sure about that. I suppose it may depend on what you build inside. My inside has only modular items that are all removable for when it gets used as a hauler. Obviously Ymmv.

This gets me that excited feeling in my stomach!! Any clue what number this was? I'm painting my Nomad desert camo to match my truck. I need to remember to tell Phil to give me the sticker to apply afterwards. I have tan Maxtrax and will paint the rotapax camo to match design on the camper.
