There no sadder feeling as a driver, no matter the make or model, than engaging your locker and still being stuck.

Something was wrong with the front, it wasn't engaging. And if he'd aired down to about 15psi I think he'd have been ok anyways.

I took a trip from Tennessee to south Alabama, about an 8 hour drive, in a old cj5 all interstate driving. I always wanted a jeep, not after that trip, beat me to death. My taco is a pleasure to ride long trips, except for how far the door panel sticks out, annoying as hell.

This is the truth of this thread. The Tacoma is a “Jack of all trades” and a master of none.

You can zoom down the highway, turn onto a gravel road, then turn onto a quad trail, all while carrying several people and your camping gear in relative safety and comfort.

It’s not the best for highway miles, and it’s not the best for rock crawling, but it dabbles in both respectably.

Good on you for being a solid where there was no solid. What kind of trail was the Jeep doing? Looked a bit slickery.

Some sort of trail where I wish it was easier to put 35's on my Tacoma. 4 miles from my house.

Sure there is. Engaging the front and then hearing a CV snap. lol

He wasn't actually giving it the berries either. I didn't see any mud clearing from those K3's. So, either he wasn't giving it enough wheel spin to clear them of KM3's suck at there job. In this case it's both. lol

Yeup. It was basically a "here's how to remain stuck forever if you don't have a winch" type scenario.

KM3's are good tires. I never had any problems running them. Just air them down and get them spinning.

Well if it’s online it must be true. Huh, who knew. Well off to my Shystler dealer in the morning to dump my bad ass taco in for a seafoam green pussymobile.

Uh because many of us wheel and want them under our trucks. Toyota makes a “TRD pro” for the dirt yet I can’t fit 33s without cutting and welding on the frame. Weak.

Jeep is American made crap with an overly complicated transmission and too many things that have gone wrong here lately on them. Now the 80's Jeeps are better made. But these newer ones just break all the time , heater cores and block failures. I have always said that if Toyota made a "jeep" type thing with roll bars , they would sell every damn one ! Toyota has the reliability that Jeep doesn't have.
