I remember thanksgiving in dv as one of the better times to be there. Cold at night and not too windy.

My first time was thanksgiving week last year, it was all good weather until 1 day before holiday. 10-15mph winds .

It's getting worse right now. It rained in Mammoth and Crowley all day, all night and it's still raining. So all the washouts the FS failed to repair are going to see even more erosion. It's supposed to switch over to snow soon. Snow makes getting around the hairpin at the top of the parking area a lot harder then normal. It also make it a little scary then normal. Ask me how I know. lol

    Just the basics
Thanksgiving is a busy time in the desert. Lot's of people head out during the holiday.

I know how you know...I see it is snowing in Mammoth and the Whites right now with rain south to Olancha.

It's dumping rain in Bishop right now. I took a sick day from work so I can head up to play in the snow. This just started a few minutes ago at Village Lodge. That's about 8000'. It should be perfect up over 10000'. Still haven't decided where I'll point the rig but east and west both put me over 10K' in 15 miles or less. lol

WTF? Your the boss. Leave at noon. I'm heading either up into Coyote or out Buttermilk Loop as soon as the market closes. That's 1:00 PM PST.

I have some crypto. It's a long term hold so I don't do much with it.
