I have Bilstein 5100 shocks installed in the front & rear with add a leaf system that I installed almost a year ago. The lift also came with Eibach coils which I wasn't able to install at the time. I just put the coils on myself and now the ride is absolute shit. My truck also is sitting much higher now, atleast much higher than a 2.5" lift.

I'm starting to think they sent me the wrong size coils. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas?

Could you see the part numbers on the coils? Did you change the seat position or possibly turned it upside down? Get a few pics from there, maybe someone smarter than I can help.

What clip do you have the 5100's set on? I had a similar setup on my truck and hated it. The Eibach springs are like a 742 lb springs and also longer than the stock springs.

Per Bilstein the 5100s are to be used only with OE springs.

This is true however there are many users here who have ran aftermarket springs on their 5100's without issues. The problem I had and I'm guessing the op is when you take the Eibach springs and run them above the lowest clip on the struts they ride rough and get more lift than anticipated. Easiest remedy is lowering the perches, reducing ride height and helping out the ride.

I just got off the phone with them about something else. The engineer I was in conversation with brought this exact scenario up. And more and more people are having problems. I would still talk to them they know more than anybody else about their products. Might have some tips on how to make it work too.

Measure the distance from the center of your hub to your fender flare with the truck sitting on level ground and with the front lifted off the ground by the frame and report back.

i definitely have it on the highest setting for the lift. Going to make the changes as soon as a get an opportunity, you have the same setup? It rides alright on the lowest setting? Also wondering if this will still give my 275/75/17 tires clearance

The Eibach springs have to be run in the 0 setting.

As mentioned above, run the 5100s on the lowest perch with those springs.

Yeah exactly as you said, the ride is much better a slight rubbing but very manageable. Thanks for all the info!
