They look absolutely fantastic Eric! Can't wait to see you gettin' em' dir-TAYYY!!!

Deep down I wasn't worried at all. I knew you had it.

I did both of mine and each time, and I would bet I am the least skilled at anything outta all y'all. I had problems trying to fit hands my size where they don't belong. What I like about @Mobtown Offroad sliders is they bolt to the frame all the way back. To do that though you need to weld a bolt to a long piece of flat stock to make a handle to work it in. I struggled with it both times then realized if I jammed a shop rag behind it, it would hold it in place enough to get the washer/nut on. :tinfoilhat: That's on me.

Thanks Rob, appreciate it. These had a bolt right behind the kick out and were a bit of a pain but nothing like you described. Hopefully I’ll get to go out soon again. Seems like there is crap every weekend now…

I parked next to an older second gen maybe (I suck at this) and it was a black single cab, short bed, and it is in immaculate condition. I could see the metal tie downs behind the bed liner through the holes in the corner and they looked a little rusty, otherwise, beautiful!

I cheated a bit and had an extra pair of hands, with wheels.

    My 17' Sport

    upload_2021-10-25_13-35-10.jpg

took me into the night being my first time and all
(amateur tip, those cheap hanging led work light strips that also plug in, make great work lights under a truck when it's spooky out hard to see)

    upload_2021-10-25_13-36-5.jpg

@hyrule_trd see the parts I was talking about on the printout all the way on the right. Makes life easier, and fools like me, nearly foolproof.

    upload_2021-10-25_13-39-56.jpg

Ok, so, I couldn't find any pics of the Pro slider install but trust me 150% that I did it the same way. However, using all my Secret Squirrel Super Abilities, I channeled my mentors spirit animals @Justanotherhemi @FadedComa and what the fuck's his name...oh yeah @Comatose , to modify the first pic to look like my current truck so you know what I am talking about.

    upload_2021-10-25_13-44-25.jpg

I had to spill the beans though because I didn't want anyone to be confused and wonder how long it took me to get the new truck, sliders and jack, oh and blanket all in the same position as the old truck 2 years ago! RIGHT!?!?!

Get some of those pull to tighten cargo straps the next time you are at Harbor Freight. Dirt cheap and can be used for a lot of great shit.
