I've been thinking about doing the same thing but haven't popped them off yet. Were the chrome emblems hard to remove & how did you do this.

Is your Tacoma an auto or manual? Just curious how affective the e-brake on a manual with the rear kit.

Ridiculously easy. The center caps just pop off with a little squeeze and pull and the emblems have two little metal tabs protruding through the back. I just gave each tab a good smack with a hammer and they came off.

The decals I applied for now look okay i guess but if you get REALLY close you can make out where the tab holes were (since it's a sticker). I ordered some rigid backed domed decals I think will be much better. I'll post those once they're on.

Not 100% sure on this so don't take it to the bank. Back in the old days it was okay to rotate tires like you do. (The way your dad taught you) Then came along radial tires. They rotate straight front to back because I think you don't want to change the direction of rotation of the radial tires.

That only matters if your tires are directional. There are some A/T tires that are but not all. My Falken Wildpeaks are not directional so can be rotated in the cross pattern. The Procomps I had on my F250 were directional so I had to go front to back on those. I don't think KO2s are directional either. Unless you see something on the sidewall that says rotation direction you are fine to rotate them in the cross pattern.

Thanks for the reply. It may not be as critical on an auto vs a manual. Mine is a manual so I may just do the front only. I almost pull the trigger on the 340 or 355 kit but ended up getting another set of Volk wheels. I will definitely upgrade my brake when it’s time to change brake pads.

I’m assuming so, they’re solid and people have been mounting them for years on the outside.
