Bent bumper (Help)

Not fast at all that tree was maybe 10 yards away. I dont recall that I even accelerated.

 

If that's the case I'd be shopping for a different brand bumper.

 

Going to try and fix it first.

 

Any reinforcement on the backside of that bumper like the on BFF bumper pictured below? Maybe you hit it just right but if you didn't accelerate I find it hard to believe that your bumper would offer any more protection that the factory bumper.

 

BFF is burly as fuck. It'd take a helluva lot to bend that tube

 

I'd hook up to another immovable object and try driving forward slowly

 

My buddy dropped off a rock on 37's straight onto his bumper side piece and that thing didnt move an inch. Mobtown stuff is stout

Update shes not perfect but pretty dam close

 

I tried using a jack but the bumper sorta started hitting against the sheet metal panel bottom edge there, had to stop. The support brackets need changing out on mine. Thought the jack would bend the bumper support brackets back into shape, no sweat. Nope. Looked good on paper tho. Yes, there are bolts on the slider supports to adjust the bumper position, but the supports are bent in such a way that adjusting the slider part won’t get the bumper raised back up properly. I pocketed the $800 the shop wanted. Bumper itself only costs $110, $70 at their cost.
