Windshield Protection

I’m willing to give it a try!

 

I tinted my windshield but only got the top like a visor but I don’t remember what I got it at. I think it’s 20%.

 

@techtacoma Great! I'll tell ya what - give it a try and report back in about 30K miles and tell us all how well it worked out AND how cost effective it was.

 

Not all windshields are created equal! Toyota (as with most automakers) OEM glass is pretty low on the quality scale. Do a little research, find some quality glass, have it installed when you need a new windshield.

Most windshields are made on the same factory. OEM windshield is made by Pilkington, so does the aftermarket one that I got, except that it doesn’t say Toyota on it. Both are shitty quality from my experience.
