I'm so glad those weren't around when I was in my late teens/early 20s, god only knows what would've happened.

 

For real. It was bad enough having to drink malt beers like Mickey's and Old English.

 

We were all about the tall cans of Steel Reserve, 8% alcohol for $1...one tall can of those was enough to get the trouble started

The tasted like ass even back then, can't imagine what one would taste like now

Mickeys hand grenades were always fun, too

 

My ex drank those; I'd find them in my fridge at the apartment and at first I thought they were just tall ass energy drinks.

Fuck she was an alcoholic.

 

Know what's funny; I pounded a handful of premixed Jack & Coke cans when I saw them at the airport in Germany. First time I ever saw them in a can and this was back in 2006 or 07 coming back from tour.

We had a strict no alcohol since we were still "on duty" so I downed some before boarding the flight

Bold move in CA, but I applaud the effort.

 

I had an alcoholic neighbor (who was also my boss) and he had an even bigger alcoholic of a brother in law. I intentionally kept warm steel reserves on my counter because when the brother in law inevitably ran out of beer he would never turn down one.

He didn't like it, but he still drank it... and I have no idea why I enjoyed torturing him with them so much
