    People buy those?

I should make some, but don't know what way is the best to reinforce/stiffen the bed? Never looked into them really. I'd send them to you both no charge.

They just look like beefed up L brackets basically, go on each back corner of the bed to help keep it from twisting

I don't think 1st gens really have to worry about the bed in that way as much as 2nd and 3rd gens do, unless you're really getting twisty on the trail with a lot of weight in the bed

I don't think I ever looked into them since I had bought a bed rack within months of having my Tacoma.

That thing kept everything together nice and tight.

I would think having some sort of bar across the two would maintain the angle?

I need bed stiffeners for the base, not the sides. Mine is slightly bowed. The crossmembers I guess weren't strong enough for 3,000lbs+

I'd love a set, noticed my bed is kinda slanted with the shell and sending it fast in the slug. Ill snag pictures later but will likely ratchet strap the bed together before installing them lols

The 99’s bed is all sorts of bend out of shape from ratchet straps

And rust but that’s not important

Yeah I think a solid bed rack helps, also the tail gate swing out I feel helps on mine because it ties both sides together with that steel l___l shaped frame it has
